I have been providing therapy for individuals and couples for over 25 years. I took the first Emotionally Focused Therapy, EFT, couple training in 2011 and became the second Certified Emotionally Focused couple therapist in Brooklyn in 2015. In 2019, the New York Chapter of Emotionally Focused Therapy, NYCEFT, recognized my work in this field for providing learning opportunities for therapists and for providing the Hold Me Tight Workshop to couples in New York. In 2020, I began co-facilitating Hold Me Tight workshops online with Dr. Regina Borderi. I have facilitated 11 in person and co-facilitated 10 online Hold Me Tight workshops.
In addition, I have created and delivered seminars on Effective Communication, Dealing With Difficult People, Stress Management, Caregiving for Elderly Relatives, and Balancing Work and Family.
My biggest passion is working with couples, helping with their attunement and healing as well as facilitating self healing. There are not many therapists who offer couple therapy and are trained in a model that has been tested, researched, and proven to work so I believe my work with couples is the most important work I can offer and it positively affects all members of the family as well as future generations.
